Transfiguration
“After six days, Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John his brother, and brought them up into a high mountain by themselves. He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his garments became as white as the light.” (Matthew 17:1-2 WEB)
How does Jesus look like now? Perhaps His dazzling transfigured form shows how He is like now.
The word for transfigured in Greek is “metamorphoo”, which is where we get the English word metamorphosis.
When transfiguration happens, the mortal puts on the nature of immortality, glowing with the glory of God.
“But we all, with unveiled face seeing the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.” (2 Corinthians 3:18 WEB)
Awesomely, the word “transformed” in the verse above is also “metamorphoo” in Greek.
When we behold the glory of the Lord in the mirror of God’s word, we are transfigured like Jesus, going from glory to glory.
When that happens, every trace of death is banished, health and healing springs forth speedily, youth and beauty are increased.
In “Younger and Younger”, that is what we are going to do. As we spend 31 days beholding God’s youth renewal promises in the Scriptures, we will be transfigured to be young, beautiful, strong, healthy, and fit like Jesus is: https://bit.ly/younger-and-younger
